3rd Circuit Reinstates Job Applicant's Injunctive Relief Claims

PHILADELPHIA - A Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on Sept. 15 reinstated a job applicant's claims against the government agency where he was denied a job several times for injunctive relief under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), finding that the claims were overlooked by the district court (Chandler P. Smith v. Secretary of Department of Environmental Protection of Pennsylvania, No. 13-1569, 3rd Cir.; 2013 U.S. App. LEXIS 19095).
