Will There be Jobs for Lawyers in the Future?

It’s fair to say that the rumors of artificial intelligence hastening the demise of attorneys are a tad exaggerated. The future of lawyers is pretty solid for the foreseeable future. In fact, instead of fearing AI-related technologies, many lawyers are embracing the data-fueled capabilities that they unlock.

A lot of the legal news you’ll read about the future of law details the benefits that legal analytics offer—and for good reason. AI and legal analytics-related technologies have shown to help lawyers conduct faster, deeper research, and uncover insights that would’ve been unheard of just a few decades ago.

So, while robotics and artificial intelligence are growing increasingly powerful, don’t expect a sleek, shiny robolawyer to come whirring through the courthouse doors anytime soon.

Instead, savvy attorneys should learn about these innovations and understand how AI (and related) technologies are helping to improve their work. Interested? Read more here: How Can AI Help Lawyers?
